Online Coated Glass

Online reflective glass is produced through a process known as "online pyrolytic coating" which applies a silicon-based coating to the glass surface by pyrolysis. In this process, semiconducting metal oxides are applied directly to the glass during float glass production while the glass is still hot during the annealing process. These coatings are known as hard coatings and are relatively less harmful to the environment.

This special metal coating also provides a one-way mirror effect, preventing visibility from the outside, thereby protecting privacy. Reflective glass is mainly used for structural affine glass. Pyrolytic coating is a metal oxide coating that is applied online during the float manufacturing process. The coating fuses to the glass surface at a high temperature of 1200℃, making it very hard and durable. Because the coating is durable, it can be applied to the outside (surface 1) or inside (surface 2) of the building. It can be treated and cut like standard float glass and processed into heat-strengthened, plasticized, laminated, bent glass and insulating glass units. These products are also known as hard-coated reflective glass.
