Wired Patterned Glass
Wired glass is produced using the same process as patterned glass, but during the manufacturing process, a 13mm square welded wire mesh is sandwiched between the panels. The wire mesh acts as a reinforcement and is typically used for the largest sizes of fire-rated windows and doors.

Wired glass is produced using the same process as patterned glass, but during the manufacturing process, a 13mm square welded wire mesh is sandwiched between the panels. The wire mesh acts as a reinforcement and is typically used for the largest sizes of fire-rated windows and doors. It is a Class B safety glass. If the glass shatters due to impact, the glass fragments are held in place by the wire reinforcement. The range has four products (diamond or square wire mesh designs, clear and irregular (patterned) glass) in 1/4 inch (6mm) thickness and in a variety of standard sizes, making it ideal for decorative or architectural applications. Wired glass can be used as a fire-rated product in limited applications. Wired glass should not be used in applications where safety glass is required.
